# Smart NOA simulation — reader’s guide

> **Educational work by a pre-medical student — not medical advice.** Not a clinical protocol, prescription, or patient handout, and not for patient care. See [DISCLAIMER](DISCLAIMER.md).

Updated 29 October 2026. A Python rule-checking simulation with fictional profiles, reproducible traces and documented limits.

## Read in this order

1. [Start with the main work](GUIDELINE_INFORMED_EXAMPLES.md).
2. [Inspect the supporting review record](DEVELOPMENT.md).
3. Read the [authorship and review status](AUTHORSHIP_AND_REVIEW.md), then use the [README](README.md) for the full repository contents.

## Reading focus

Implemented behavior, unit arithmetic and the distinction between software checks and clinical safety.

## Scope

In-memory simulation with no patient, monitor or pump interface; not clinically validated.

Source interpretation, synthetic examples and implemented software behavior have different evidentiary roles. The supporting review record states what was actually checked.
