# Historical version notice

> **Educational work by a pre-medical student — not medical advice.** Not a clinical protocol, prescription, or patient handout, and not for patient care. See [DISCLAIMER](DISCLAIMER.md).

Version history, in order:
- **v1.0 (December 2025)** gave full operational dose tables.
- **2026.10-rc2** replaced them with short discussion stubs and withdrew older protocol, clinical-competence, efficacy and review-method claims.
- **November 2026** restores an **educational dosing reference**. It is built from a citation-audited v2.0 draft, and every number is re-checked and tagged to an acceptable source in [DOSING_SOURCES.md](DOSING_SOURCES.md). Values without a verifiable source were changed or deleted, as listed in [RELEASE_NOTES.md](RELEASE_NOTES.md). rc2's stricter corrections are kept: IV lidocaine is not combined with blocks or infiltration; POFA is framed as showing important adverse outcomes; no universal superiority or first/second/third-line order is claimed.

The current dosing reference is still **not** a clinical protocol, and its doses are illustrative and must be individualized. Earlier commits remain recoverable for provenance and are not thereby verified. **Do not treat dose tables from v1.0 or any earlier commit as validated or sourced;** only the current tagged values are cross-referenced to sources. No Git history rewrite or visibility change has been performed.
